Glen,

I thought of you the other day when I was looking at one of my projects. I recently had to have a section of telephone cable replaced that had gone bad and while doing so, I saw a groundhog run into it's hole next to a culvert. It was probably the reason the cable had gone bad.

I went out to inspect the completed job this past week and and saw the groundhog again so I just sat and waited a few minutes for it to come back out.

Here's a little closer look.

If the company would just let me carry a gun, I think I could save them a lot of money. This was two counties away from here. I wish we had groundhogs like we used to back in the late sixties, I sure miss hunting them.

Hey Glen.....there's a few chucks near my house here that resemble your chuck shown above, but mine all have .224" bullet holes in their heads. Wonder what's up with that?

 A little more bullet diameter never hurt a groundhog that I know of. Maybe killed em quicker but I was never able to get a stop watch on the death rate.

I was just meanin' that your chuck was "holeless"....... ;) You need to look into that and take appropriate action. :D
