Great Trip To Work

I'm lucky enough to live in an area that allows my .204 to be in my truck at all times. Always on the lookout for targets of opportunity such as squirrels, coyotes, badger, crows, etc. This morning was especially productive. I got two jackalopes, one flying pig and half a dozen snipes on my 7 mile drive! I was using my new pet load: 16 grain V-Max (a 32 cut in half) on top of 60 grains of Varget (slightly compressed) with a large magnum primer (I re-drill the primer pocket). Muzzle velocity is 7500 fps. After firing one of these rounds my bolt was a little difficult to cycle. I fixed that issue by welding a six inch extension on my bolt handle using a nice piece of re-bar. If anyone here needs custom reloads or gunsmithing, let me know! My prices are quite reasonable. Rick, feel free to PM me with your' questions. I will reply confidentially and you can make everyone think you came up with the answer on your' own. Happy April Fools' day to a great bunch of guys!!!

I started reading thinking....."this guy is lucky enough to have 'drive-by' varmint opportunities all the time"......but then.... Good one.

How much are the 'bolt handle extensions'? May come in handy during those pressure excursions into "Wildcat Land" we all fear with a primordial dread. ;)

Rick,
If you act now, I can give you one complimentary extension for marketing purposes. The one I have ready to go will fit any Cooper M21 action. I grind the weld down with a 6" angle grinder so it looks "real good" ! Seriously, I do have some nice "drive by" opportunities.

 RAMOS.............I'll order a bolt ext to fit my Remingtons.
Plus could you post pic of your chrono with 7500fps on screen!!
I bet you get excellent barrel life at that velocity too!!
On 2nd firings do you use super glue to keep the primers in?
O by the way April fools!!
Happy Easter you guys .
Spring is here and may your barrels be hot.
Later

Ray,
Did not have much luck with super glue. I use JB-Weld. It's permanent, but that is okay because the case is worn out after the 2nd firing! Extensions are in the mail.
