Good job! I'm also in the process of "developing" a shotgun and loads for coyotes. Care to give us a rundown on your shotgun and type ammo you're using? I have a couple of Remington 870's (20" and 26") bbl's, but I'm leaning toward my Stoeger 2000, mainly because the 2000 is camo and much lighter. I've bought some 3", #4 buckshot, but due to the weather, and being "under the weather", I just haven't gotten out.

It is a mossberg 500 tactical of some sort. Can't remember the model number. Wanted something short and light to carry around in the truck. Load used was winchester supreme 3" #4 buck copper plated shot. Works very well!! Going to have the gun modded out to use a choke system so I can use that HD stuff to get a little more range.

Ya, this little mossberg has taken down 5 yotes allready since xmas, me and my bro in law baught it together as I do all my hunting in there neck of the woods. Buckshot is OK but I am thinking after some research that that HD shot in BB or bigger out of a mod choke should be much more useful. A local smith say he can make the changes to make the gun accept mossberg's choke tube system so I think this is the road we will take.
