Thanks for the kind words there, Mark. Putting down your passion on paper isn't too hard when you love it like we do.

The Kimber has been out for rats a couple of times, shot from the bench and from bipod, but it was really never intended to be one of my bench rifles, rather a part-time bench gun, but mostly a walkabout rifle for both rats and coyotes. So far I've only tried the Nosler 32gr BT's in her 12 twist barrel, as I've got oodles of 'em on the shelf. Early indications are the rifle is a sub .5 MOA shooter using that bullet and Benchmark. Once I've got my 32gr load dialed, I'll see if I can find a 39/40gr bullet & load she likes also.

Here's "'Lil Kim" on the bench the last time she was out to play last season. She held her own against Skippy and his pals, and racked up some impressive kills at extended range.

Like you Mark, we're also counting the months as they click by, just itching for the spring green-up and the emergence of our favorite rodent. ;) Spring sure seems like a long ways off, but something tells me the EORFS crew will be ready when the rats poke their heads up once again. Glad the article got you in the mood. :D
