Hi, More help needed,
Can anyone tell me how to go about making a plug of a chamber for the purpose of getting, go and no go gauges made up? Also what materials to use. Thanks, kenb  PS who would make wildcat gauges?

Ken: For making a chamber cast, Cerrasafe is the way to go; recommended and used by top gunsmiths for this exact purpose. Available from Brownells. (It's not really hard to do, just follow directions that come with the product.)

As far as the 'go' & 'no-go' gauges go for your project, talk to Dave Kiff at Pacific Tool & Gauge, as he's the man for such things and very knowledgeable in the firearms field. What you need is part of his product lineup.

Hope it helps. :D
