Came downstairs at about 7:00am and saw a tail pass by one of the back windows (not more than 10 ft from the house). Ran up stairs to grab my rifle from the safe and back down the stairs and onto the back deck. Loaded a 40 gr. Hornady V-max into the chamber and at a little more than 100 yrds. he had no chance. One shot droppped him in his tracks.
(Not very sporting, I know but we have had such a problem with coyotes that I took it.)
