I was thinking about throwing a Pac-Nor on a VLS as well.

Can't wait to see how your Remmy shoots! As I am thinking about the 1:10 twist too.

I will do that. I'm thinking of doing a bedding job before I start any load testing, and in any event, we'll have to get rid of some more snow before I can take her out for a range day.

Sorry for the terrible delay, but finally got around to taking a photo of the 1 in 10 twist Pac-Nor rebarreled VLS ...



Haven't really worked up any loads for it just yet, but I was trying some loads I had done for another .204, and its pushing 40 gr Bergers at over 3,850 fps. Looking forward to trying some 50 gr Bergers soon.

Finally got around to trying some 50 gr Bergers in the 1 in 10 twist Pac-Nor barrel.

Here is the very first load I tried, three shots with 25.0 gr H4895. I was simply hoping that they would stabilize, so I was very pleased.

I think you can say that they stabilized quite well!

That is a good start for sure. Will you be trying the 55 grain Bergers?
