Ummm..Why? That's justs going to push Livestock through fences. Plus the hogs are going to wise up and stay in the thickets where you can't see them from the sky. Sooo what good is this?

though they would also have to pay landowners for the right to hunt on their property
Would have to pay the landowner to do them a service, nope I wouldn't do it. Heck, I have a week of vacation coming up and would love to spend it in the Lone Star state hunting feral hogs to help a farmer/rancher reduce property damage and save him some money. I wouldn't even ask nothin of him except for a general description of the land. That right there is a prime oppritunity to put some of my long range goodies to work and test out some of my heavy hitters.

A state lawmaker is proposing to allow ordinary Texans with rifles and shotguns to shoot the voracious, tusked animals from helicopters.
And who'd a thought the ordinary Texan had helicopters?

I heard about this issue on the radio the other day. The announcer made it sound like they were gonna let anyone with at least one tooth and a quarter of a brain fly around Texas with a.. dare I say it. . . "gun"
evil things, guns are soo bad! (sarcasm) They made it sound like there were no hog issues. . . . just rednecks wantin' to have fun terrorizing the neighbors!!. . . . in a heli-copter!
