I get tired of searching so many different websites for all the info. I'm always looking for a bargain. Can anyone advise me on who to get with, where to go, and when's best? Thanks.

It would help some in getting you info to know in what state you currently live.... Just so I don't suggest a location that would be an unreasonable drive/distance...

There are some of us that make several trips per year, but have been burned with introducing new shooters to our locations, only to have them show up later with "their buddies", trash the place and have the rancher shut us all down...

We tend to be pretty close mouthed about private land, but I do know of some 'professional' set ups where room and board as well as guide service is available for a reasonable cost and the PDs generally can be guaranteed..

I live in Charlotte, do travelling to VA\TN area on weekends. Looks like I'll be going by myself when I go. I've taken 51 groundhogs off one farm and wish I'd had some other places to hunt the chucks too because 51 will take its toll off a 250 acre farm. I don't mind taking a 2 hour drive on a weekend for hogs, where they're available and easy to see. But the prairie dogs I figure would have to be Kansas or Texas for the shortest drive or flight. It's too bad I can't get to a PDog town within 2 hrs from here. But, if all else fails I'll take an 8 hour flight and use some vacation. The price is lower but it's hard to find a train route to Wyoming, and would take 2 days to get there. Hey! Anybody know where there's one of those high speed electromagnetic trains? I saw one on television but I don't know if they got PDogs in Europe.
