Diane shot a couple with the ol ot4 yesterday & today & I thought I would share them here.
Head shot at about 87yds on a nice 11lb male.
Another nice head shot from the 204 with the 39gr BK's & a head shot. Diane shot this one about 3 minutes later & at 107yds.
Here is the end result of the 2nd head shot.
This was my 204'ed hog. It weighed 11lbs also & the 32gr V-Max at about 60yds mushed everything inside his skull.

Diane shot two more with the 204 & the 39gr BK's today. They were both under 125yds. The 1st one is barely visible & the 204 gives it's location away so you can see it next time thru.
This groundhog can't be seen by the camera but the puff from the 204 reveals it's hiding spot.

That was sweet!
I showed a coworker who is a strict .270 and nothing else person. . . he was impressed with the first video of the hog in open field! He didn't believe me when I told him that the .240 was capable to drop in spot targets such as ghogs and coyotes.
Now he's seeing some light in his dark world.
Thank you!
Good shootin'

Thanks Skipper!! We're just playing around & having some fun with this. I'm glad you folks like the videos even tho they aren't the best. I don't know which pleases me more. Knowing my Wife is hammerin the hogs or that you guys are enjoying my feeble attempts at entertaining the masses.
Did you hear the "POP" of that groundhogs head right after the crack of the rifle??
Listen closely. You can hear it.
I believe they are in the Rimfire Forum under the Marlin thread.
More videos.

Glen,
Nice vids,Glen. These shots were hand held ,right?
What kind of camera gear do you use?We have been trying to film our hunts and get some spectacular hits recorded with varying degrees of success. We even purchased a rifle cam for our last PD adventure.Either couldn't keep the handy cam lined up with the target or distance was too far for the camera to pick up the detail.I am hoping that the reduced recoil from the 204 will eliminate the camera jumping around and getting off target.
Thanks Ed
A couple years ago my wife shot a 12 pounder from an angle above the pig.The upper half of his body was visible above the hole. The bullet hit dead center between the shoulder blades and lifted that thing completely out of his hole like on a catapult. That was about 200 yards. Not a very long shot but wow what a whack. That would have made a great video. She loves that 220 swift.

I'm sorry.I didn't mean to ignore the shooter.Very nice shooting Diane.I love that giggle after you've made a good shot.My wife does the same thing. You should have seen the dance she did after bagging a big one at 487 yds in tall grass.I'm glad you enjoy the sport.
