went out calling last weekend with a buddy of mine. we shot three coyotes and here they are.

This coyote was shot at about 15 yards. We are not sure if this is from his 22-250 or my 204 handload. Either way it was almost missing his leg. Bone was visible.

Well cap,

You turned them two into good coyotes, even if you were kind of messy about it. Good job!

Good pictures and thanks for sharing.

The extreme damage though has me a bit concerned. I'm assuming your choice in bullets caused the severe hide damage? The reason I ask is because I have a Ruger Hawkeye 204 that I plan on using for coyotes and fox this winter, but I want to save the hides as much as possible. I like to keep them.

Nice. AK204, use the 35 grain Bergers, they don't tear hides up at all. The 39 SBK usually do.

Verminator2,

Thanks. I'll pick up a box and start reloading them and see how they do.
