Post by Super 91 »

Caught a white whistle pig the other day. Never seen a albino one before. Any of you guys?

There is actually two of them in the pasture at my folks place. I caught this one, and hope to catch the other if I can find what den he is in. I thought he was pretty cool though.

Thats cool!! I've seen a lot of groundhogs but thats the 1st true pink eyed albino I've seen!! I might decide to let that one go for a couple seasons to see how he fares in life.

Yeah, what Glen One En said! Also, if caught young enough, they DO make good pets, according to my mother's late husband, who kept one in the woodbox in the kitchen when he was a kid. It slept in the closet, stayed mostly in the kitchen where it was toasty warm, though. It wasn't an albino, just a normal colored one.

That is the second or third post I've seen just this week on albino groundhogs being seen around. I wonder if it's that Global Warming thing going on?

Cool looking little guy, though.

That is cool. I wonder if they came from the same litter.

Can't believe I caught TWO white ones at the same time! How many guys in this world have trapped two albino ground hogs at the same time? I am ELITE........ ;) ;) ;D ;D :-*

Then we had a little visitor on the front porch this afternoon....

Dun caught a pretty little corn snake under the wood pile, and seen this small black snake and one about twice or better this'ns size.

I have seen one a few times in a front yard on the way home from work. I can't believe it has not been hit yet.
