A good p-dog shoot

Post by Arizona Hunter »

Last weekend my friends and I did a little shooting-man it was hard to find the critters because the grass had grown to 1' to 3' tall since mid June when we shot last time. But it was fun!

My longest shot was 403 yards :camper: (my previous best was 378)-which I know is not that long for many of you-but if you had told me 2 years ago I'd be hitting these little targets at those distances I would have thought you crazy.

One place I shot Sunday morning I had to force myself not to shoot at anything over 200 yards because there were so many from 100-200 and my barrell was getting hot. I guess it's time to get a second .204!

We are already planning our next outing for mid October so I better get some more cartridges loaded.

Awesome. Just wait until you hit the 500 yard milestone.....and then repeat it.

Even better, there will be people that don't believe you. I have found, take them with you, shot a pdog as far away from the main group you are shooting at...and let them pace it off. They have time to think about what brand of rifle they will be buying next (not the caliber...but the brand!).

Congrats!!!

Arizona, I figured out right off that I needed two 204's. Now a third one is on my list, although there are a few necessities ahead of it. Keep up the good work on the pd's, this is the sport of kings!
