Not much going on here right now in the way of varmints....hot summer doldrums, the critters are down in their burrows staying cool, so thought I'd post some "Fun with Rock Chucks" just for fun.
Here's Rocky prior to meeting any ballistic challenging moment, peeking out of his rocky hideaway:
The terminal result of peeking too long, resulting in a real ballistically challenging outcome:
A family portrait of sorts, Rocky and his pals gathered around my pet Sako Vixen Sporter, all sporting various degrees of brain damage:
One of the largest rocky guys I've ever seen.....a full 16 pounds, and probably a grand-daddy to boot. (The rifle is my first Ruger 77/22 Mag, new that day, and not the rifle used to take the chuck - that was my Sako above):
These guys are prime recipients for Sierra 39 Blitz Kings! Enjoy.
