Memorable Memorial Day Hunt

After paying homage to my grandparents, got out for a quickie shoot on memorial day. Shoot only lasted about 40 minutes before I ran out of the 42 shells I brought with me (reminder to bring more shells next time). Set up on old corral fence posts and the wind was 10-20 MPH, but I got it dialed in and took down about a dozen dogs. Shortest shot was about 85 yards, with most being 180-250 yards with the savage 204. With a single rest point on the fence, it made the long shots a lot more challenging than on a bench, but good practice for big game hunting. Here are some pics of a 30g berger doing 4050 fps. 1st pic was a pup, the 3rd pic was a very large p dog and it was intact except missing the entire head.

Finished off the day with a ECD shoot. Love the offseason wing shooting.
