Morning guys.
The .204 bagged it's first jackal this past weekend.
Male of 4 years, and a female of 5 years.
The little 32gr V-Max hits like an RPG! I love the little rifle more every day!
Cheers,
Eugene

Good job. The jackals look kinda like our coyotes. I have yet to shoot a coyote with my .204 but hope to change that soon. I've been experimenting with the 32 gr. Nosler Varmegeddon and they are really accurate. I've shot one badger with that bullet and it put him down good. I really enjoy my .204, 700 Rem. VLS. Keep up the good work on those jackals.

Geno--Good job on the jackals. Thanks for sharing the photos.
Do you just go out and spot them and shoot or do you call them in?

What do you do with them? Can you sell the hides?

They stay on the farm. There is a tiny market for skins (Around $18 U.S ), but the V-Maxes blow huge holes in the pelts.
It's also an ethics thing to keep them on the farm, because some hunters have given frozen jackal from other farms to farmers, and claimed money for them.
