40 pound coyote at 296 yards, is my best yet. It isnt legal to deer hunt with them here. I bet a good shot would do the trick ! Not gonna risk my gun to find out though!

Went out a few weeks back and bagged a couple of warthog, jackal, caracal and a few guinefowl with the 204.

These two pigs are also the biggest taken up to now.

I only use 32g Varmageddons and V-Maxes, bought 2000 of them when i got the licence an been using them since.

Are wharthogs very tough animals to bring down? Obviously your 32gr heads are getting the job done quite nicely!

I have to say that i am impressed. I would have never guessed that the 32 grain Varmageddon bullets would take down animals of that size. In my experience the 32 grain varmageddon was a very explosive bullet. I used them exclusively last summer on our prairie dog trip in Colorado, to date they have been the most accurate and explosive factory 20 caliber bullet I have found. Factor in the great price they can be bought at and they are a big winner. I believe a big Thank You is in order to Nosler for producing such a great bullet and keeping the price very reasonable.

Visited a friends place this weekend. He asked me to kill this warthog for staff rations.

A few years ago I had a depredation permit for whitetails. Not wanting to shoot alot of ultra mag ammo I opted for my 204. In about 2 weeks I killed 27 deer. Most were high shoulder shots, a few head and neck shots, and a few behind the shoulder shots. Most dropped in their tracks except the behind the shoulder shots. Those mostly ran about 30 yds. Shots were from 100 to 350 yds. Bullets were Berger 40 grain VLD. Shot placement is crucial with the smaller calibers but they are very lethal. My 10 year old son has killed several deer with the same 204 including an 11 pt he got the first day last fall.
