Well if anyone is wondering what would happen it you shot a Coyote in the head with a 32 gr. V-max, just look the picture below. This was a factory HSM load, guessing in the 4000fps range. Shot was at about 35 yards, and was not the intended to be shot in the head. But needless to say it was DRT. It'll cure anyone's question about, "Wonder what it would do if i shot him in the head?"........Happy Hunting, Kevin

That's the way to do it Kev. Instant death. I realise some people go for a body shot so as to get the animal mounted, but for destruction only purposes, head shot's the right thing by the animal.

Not sure if you can tell or not, but I had to push his Eye back in before the picture....

That was the entrance hole. No exit hole. Just exploded in his cheek and that was the damage it did.
