Small Caliber Expedition

Post by Vartarg »

I'm in Santa Fe now, visiting our youngest daughter and family, and will be driving up to Mora tomorrow afternoon to meet out outfitter: Peter Romero of Sierra Blanca Outfitters. Mitchell Young, my hunting partner, is arriving from LA tomorrow evening.

This is my first PD expedition, and am looking forward to it. We'll be shooting Tue, Wed and Thursday. I've got my Ruger 77 Mk II in .204, Rem VSSF in 20VT, Cooper M21 in 17FB and Anschutz 17 HMR, along with a little over 2100 rds of ammunition.

Will report.....

I can only imagine............feel for you man....I hate when that stuff happens especially on a first time outing. Leaves a bad taste.....
It's hard to detect good luck, It looks so much like something you've worked hard for and earned.
