majcl5--Great photos. Thanks for posting them. Now you have got me wanting to go out a put the hurt on some North Dakota prairie dogs if the wind ever dies down a little bit. Earlier today it was blowing at 29 mph with gusts to 39 and even higher speed winds are predicted for tonight.

Great action pics Mark!!! I HAVE to rember the camera and try to get some of those BIG air shots!!! Thanks for sharing. Is the fields there alfafla or a small grain not yet replanted? Those varmints can't be helping the farmers crop whatever it is.
Take a kid to the range, both of you will be glad you did. remy3424

Rick and Gary:
Yes that was truly one of our best trips. And we had some of the highest and farthest lunches we have ever had. I think it was due to the close proximity of the rodents and most being baby's they would just fly high and proud. We cheated a little mostly .204's on the close ones i just cant help it when they are about 25 yards we have a code my son yells "camera dad". As u would say rick Skippy had some great flying lessons. We got some great video 2.

Hunt4em: Its not that it was very cold about 50ish it was the massive amount of wind. We would shoot , they would fly up and the wind would take them about 20-30 ft sometimes.

I just noticed that you were wearing gloves sweatshirts and coats . But with winds like that 50ish can be kinda cool.Where did you find shooting bags like that or did you make them never seen any like that before. They look sturdy for a rest
