511 yards

Post by Inrut24/7 »

I set up on some good fields after work this afternoon. One groundhog came out at 511 yards. I had about a 10-15 mph crosswind right to left, first shot was pretty far off, but by the fourth shot i was real close, i would say it missed him by 2 inches at the most, of course by the time i had the wind figured out he didnt come out again, I had the elevation perfect with the vh reticle every shot. one was out at 635 yards but i didnt even bother trying.

My longest groundhog last year way 502 yards with the 204, its always nice to beat your own records, I was going to see if he was out today, but didnt because its more windy than yesterday. Does anyone have a wind drift chart for the 204. Im shooting 39 grain blitzkings.
