That was my Ruger Standard MKII in 204 I floated the barrel glassed the action and installed a Timney trigger on it. It is my day time coyote rifle and it has killed several. Dinners on the table I will get back to you on the Ultra light.

I went back to this same spot this evening about 6pm I set a tape player down below me not to far and set out the Prey master I set on the side of the hill for about twenty minutes when I saw a scaggly lop eared coyote with the hair rubbed off his rear. He was going in out of sight as he worked his way toward my noise maker. Just as he came out from the bushes and I was wondering how to stop him for the shot he lifted his nose and turned mid step back up the trail I squeezed of a shot at his hind end but missed I watch and spotted him going up the hill across from me another quick shot and a miss. Now the coyote never changed speed it just moved like a long not skipping a beat. I believe that it smelt my sent from when I set the noise maker out. next time I think I will keep it a little closer to me.
