Just wondering if anybody has a Savage Preditor rifle in 204 ? How accurate, heavy, and handy in the field is it ?

My dad has one. Shoots in the .6-7s with most 35 berg. loads and BM. He hasn't taken it to the field yet, so I don't know much about that.

I think Hawkeye Joe just got one, and I seem to remember at least one other around these parts.

FOr ME, it weight is perfect for sticks and not bad to carry at all. The oversized bolt is nice..

AAAHHH yes. I have a Predator in 204. Mine also shoots .5 -.6 groups at 100 with the 35 Bergers and 26.6 grains of Benchmark. Now that I got 100 rounds down the pipe, it's down to about 2 inches at 200. No field testing yet,BUT coyote season opens October 1 :assault: :assault: GAME ON
