anyone have a Savage Preditor in 204 ?

Just wondering if anybody has a Savage Preditor rifle in 204 ? How accurate, heavy, and handy in the field is it ?

My dad has one. Shoots in the .6-7s with most 35 berg. loads and BM. He hasn't taken it to the field yet, so I don't know much about that.

Reckon so...
Had one for about 3 months...

FOr ME, it weight is perfect for sticks and not bad to carry at all. The oversized bolt is nice..

AAAHHH yes. I have a Predator in 204. Mine also shoots .5 -.6 groups at 100 with the 35 Bergers and 26.6 grains of Benchmark. Now that I got 100 rounds down the pipe, it's down to about 2 inches at 200. No field testing yet,BUT coyote season opens October 1

Excellant ! I love it. Looks like a real coyote killer to me. I now have a new wish list item. Hope to have one soon. Now if i can just get my wife to feel the same..............
