Was the Boyd's stock drop-in ready, or was there some work involved?

As for the 400 yrd shots there was 6 of us, i dont know if 7 kills in 4 days if thats good or just average. Last year in 2 trips we had 2. But this year we all had our benches and better bags for shooting. This was the first trip all 6 of us had centerfires.
Va Varminter, The boyds stocks came stock on both guns My remington and my sons Howa. The remington was at the time the last .204 in Oregon in that style. Remington Made onlya few of those guns with the thumbhole and stainless. I did hear that there making them again. The have always made the xr-100 but it is black and gray laminated ,blued ,and a single shot.
