A pleasent suprise today.

Post by Va varminter »

A few weeks ago I was riding around looking for a few farms to do some groundhog hunting in. I found one and got permission to hunt. He told me to come back on another day(Sundays) so he could show me where to hunt. I thought this was strange because in SW VA most farmers can point off of their porch to where the land goes. A big farm would be 350- 500 acres. I show up today and he tells me to get in his truck. We go for a ride on his propery and it takes almost an hour and a half. I don't know if I will be able to hunt all of his land this summer. A farm this big where I live is like striking gold for a hunter  He also told me to kill every howler I see. Didn't even have to ask him.

Okay. Time to wake up and have a cuppa coffee. You're obviously dreaming... :D Dang, sounds like you scored! I'd take care of that farmer if I were you...

Nice going. Every once in a while, we all need to fall into that proverbial sewer pit and come out smelling like a rose  .
As Guy M and Rick pointed out, take care of the old boy. It'll be well worth what ever you spend.
