I know I should have 300 pieces of 204 brass, but after loading every piece I could find it comes out to only 288 rounds:( I suspect there are some pieces of brass hiding out somewhere with a few of my missing socks!

im going though my sock draw now im missing some rounds as well , every time i go spot lighting i never come home with all the empties cheers bazz

yep. Know the feeling. Got no idea how many I'm supposed to have, but trying to catch every case as you quickly reload and try not to lose that other sly fox - not easy. Some cases roll around on the ute floor, others out the window. I dropped a live round in the paddock once at night - never found that

I'm missing 60 rounds somewhere. Probably hiding in plain sight.

I had a hundred rounds of neck-sized reloads stolen out of my truck a year or two back. The only thing that makes me smile is imagining the retards first trying to use them in a 223 and if they do happen to have a 204, wondering why they will not chamber.

Last time I tumbled brass, I ended up with 72 more pieces than I'd started with.




Go figure.

So now we know where all the missing brass ends up........In Freds' tumbler. Any good socks in there with the brass?

BTW- I took these loads to the range Wed. to see how well they would perform and shot a 0.6", 5 shot group @ 200yds using a CZ 204 Varmint/6-20x40oa Grand Slam...29.1gr of RL15 and 39gr Sierra BK's.
The 221FB(also a CZ) shot a 0.3" group @ 100yds using 40gr BK's and 18.5gr of RL7.
No after market work done on either gun.
Both loads OAL is the max I can make them and still fit in the magazines.

No socks but I do find alarming numbers of ball point pens.
