Hi
I have a new lothar walther 1/10 twist 204 barrel on order for my remington varmint rifle.
I plan to use 40 grain bullets and am wondering which bullet I should try first between the 39 sierra, 40 vmax, 40 nosler and 40 berger.
I know I will probably have to try a few of them but which do I start with ?
I am looking for the most accurate bullet. thanks.

Sakofan, My TC has a 1:10 (measured) barrel and likes the 39 BK a lot. 24.6 grains of RL10x, Rem 7 1/2 primers, Rem brass, COAL of 2.280 (to the tip). I haven't found a 40 VMax load that it likes yet but I'm not through trying. I've used RL10X, 8208XBR, and H322 so far. I have some test loads of IMR4895 (26.0 - 27.8 grains in .2 increments) ready to shoot but our weather here has been less than ideal for load testing. I haven't tried the 40 Nolser or Bergers yet.

The TC also likes the 32 grain SBK, 28.9 grains of BL-C(2), Rem 7 1/2 primer, Rem brass, 2.294" COAL.

Let us know what your barrel likes.
