They use a blended proprietary powder. I pulled a bullet on a factory round and confirmed that its blended powder. As far as I know they haven't published what the blend is. You can come close to matching the factory load velocities with Ramshot Xterminator and a couple other powders if that is what you are interested in.

if the 32 vmax bullets are having keyhole problems you most likely need to look at other things. What type of Rifle are you shooting, when did it start to keyhole? Any additional information you can provide will help.

+1 with what Brad said.

First thing I'd check is the crown. A ding or burr there will do it.

Thats ok, everyone makes mistakes. I am glad to hear that your rifle is ok. The powder i would recommend when trying to get max velocity is Accurate Arms 2230 or Ramshot Xterminator. both of those powders will produce velocities in excess of 4,000 fps with the 32 grain vmax. Please proceed with extreme caution when working up max loads. Little changes can cause big problems in the small calibers. Best of luck to you. :)

I read someplace its was a special blended powder that includes a decoppering agent. I pulled a 45 gr Hornady 204 factory round apart and the powder looks and smells just like the new Hodgdon CFE 223. I haven't shot any of it yet but I have 40 rounds loaded. The stuff meters great.

i have loaded re10x but have not had chance yet to put them across a chrono yet.
ive shot it with h335 but the fps was a tad slow.
but the factory 32s shot really nice...
