Sweet spot...finally!!!

Been working for almost a year to find the best load for my CZ 204 Varmint. Narrowed down the load to 25.7gr Benchmark with a 39 Blitzking. The COL that delivers is 2.31. 4 of 5 were in a bughole at 100 yds with the 5th just outside. Slightly larger than 1/4" group. Quite happy with this as the wind was blowing about 20 mph

See if you can repeat it several times over just to make sure. I've done that only to come back and find out that it was all over the place. Doesn't happen often but when it does it makes ya' scratch your head. Nice lookin' though.

It is great when a plan comes together, especially at 1/4 inch!

I have been consistently getting 1/2" groups, usually 3 or 4 shots into 1 hole and then a flyer which opens the group to 1/2". So this is repeatable. I loaded some at 2.29, 2.30 and 2.31 COL to find out which groups the best. I had checked them out all the way from 2.25 to 2.34 and found the best around 2.30. In reality the 2.31 does the very best. Now thinking about getting my 6mm Rem out and work up a load for that one. Thanks for your comments

Sounds good. For the one round that is a flier (presuming you can't explain why) put that piece of brass aside and look it over for any defects such as neck thickness or other differences.

Holding dead on....wind from the back. And great idea to put the flyer case aside. Hadn't thought of that.

Ah, you had me going there with the 20mph wind. 0 or 180 deg. = no noticeable effect.

Those unexplained flyers can really wreck a guy's day. I get 'em, too. I just shoot a 5 shot group afterwards and see if it was me or the round.
