I know that bullet seating depth is important to accuracy, and I know max lenth of the 204,
but what is the max bullet seating depth?
Also I know the max case lenth. Does a shorter than max case lenth also affect accuracy?
What increments do most of you seat bullet depths at when testing for grouping?

I load for three diferent 204s,and all of them have long throats.I can't seat a bullet to thouch the lands, on any of them.Factory loads are 2.250 COAL,which is allot of bullet jump, howeve,it seems to work ok.I move up in .010 increments with the same powder charge,to 2.400.Found the most accurate, around 2.350-2.355.Adjusted powder charge, to fine tune it, from there .I use .002-.003,neck tension,on my loads. All single shot actons,Bolt, falling block, and break open.
