Hi guys quick newbie question, just floating round the forum there doesn't seem to be much mention of people using H322 in loads, any reason why? I am loading it ( well the Australian equivalent AR2219 anyway) and am only in early stages of load development and getting some good early groups. Just putting it out there

I've seen a lot of posts early on with guys using 322. I think a lot of us like to experiment with different powders and that's all it is.
Good powder from what I've read.

Used to use H335 and found it very accurate but more temp sensitive than I wanted. Now, I'm playing around with H4895 and 8208XBR.
Getting great results and no temp hassles.

Yeah I read alot about 8208 xbr, it's sounds great but as I found out, even though it is made here in Australia it has not been released here yet. Will have a crack when it does

Hahaha I reckon it's about time the tables turned lol, we are used to getting all the stuff that wasn't good enough for the American market

27g of H322 shoots very well for me in my Savage model 16 (22" barrel) with 32 v-max. Groups run in the .3-.4's consistently and velocity very near 4,000 fps. Have not tried the heavier bullets with it.

Do any of you know whether it is much more temp sensitive than say 8208xbr or h4895?

Can't answer with absolutes but a 25.9 gr load under 32 gr SBK developed at 80 plus degrees did just fine at 55 degrees.
