More fur friendly load
Getting a lot of flack on another site for going to a 204 for fox. Anybody got a load they use on fox ? Where I hunt there are a fair number of coyotes so I leave the 22 mag at home, Lots of guys say my 204 is going to cut a fox in half. They use 17 CF. Thanks in advance

verminator3........Don't know if you worked up a load for the 35 or 40 grain Bergers yet? These should work well. 20 cal in and out unless you hit bone.
Give them a try

Verm: Now you've got a perfect excuse to build up either a 17 Mach IV or a 17 Ackley Hornet. I'd agree that the 204 may be a bit much for fox, but will certainly do the job. The smaller calibers are just better suited to the size of the game being hunted IMO, and besides.....you "NEED" another rifle, right?
