I bought some nosler 34gn FBHP projectiles and just wanted to know if anyone was using them. I can’t find any info in my reloading manuals for example starting loads and max loads.

I don't find any detail at either the Nosler website or the usual reloading sites about a 34gr Nosler in .20.

I think Adam is referring to the 34's marketed as Dog Towns up here in the states. Generally accepted to be produced by Nosler as a generic bullet. Or I could be wrong.

Either way use data for the 35 Berger.

No sir, you are not wrong, those are indeed Noslers, made right here.

Thanks guys my old boy said to use the 35’s as a guide so I did and started at 27gns of AR2206H and worked up to 28gns and did no good, All out to an inch moa. Might start at 26gns and see how I go. Thanks again Adam

Unfortunately, No offense to Nosler, those 34's have seldom been renowned for thier accuracy. Should be able to get better than 1moa though.

Anyone know the American equivalent of AR2206H? As close as I could find its BLC2.

Me thinks we have enough brothers from down under we should have a conversion chart under the reloading data tab.
I've seen one before but I can't locate it now.

OK I smartened up a tad. Its H-4895.

OK I smartened up a tad. Its H-4895.

I've shot a lot of Dog Towns and Midsouths Varmint Xtremes which is the same bullet and for the price they can be surprisingly accurate. They won't beat my 35 Berger or 39 SBK loads but they can get close. I've used R10X, H322 and IMR4895 for them. Keep them at moderate velocities and they can be OK

If you have some BM2 floating around, give it a try, somewhere around 26.6 is a low-end sweet spot, you can work your way up from there, if you so choose. It's working well enough in my Savage heavy gun, and does credibly well in my CZ.

BM2, of course, is plain old Benchmark for us Yanks.
