FROM WHAT U GUYS HAVE NOTICED WHICH BULLET SHOULD I SHOOT? WHICH DO U GUYS LIKE BETTER FOR ACCURACY? I HAVE BEEN DOING SOME RESEARCH AND ALOT OF PEOPLE ARE SAYING THE 32GRAIN SHOOTS BETTER

KLUTCH--That depends on what your rifle likes You didn't say what twist your barrel has, so maybe, if it is a 1 in 12 it won't stabilize the 40 gr. bullets as well as the 39 gr. or 32 gr. bullets. If you have any wind at all where you shoot, you would do well to go with the 39 grain or 40 grain bullets.

When I first bought my Savage 12VLP in .204 Ruger I bought 15 boxes of factory 32 gr. Hornady V-Max shells and began to shoot those. When I found some 39 gr. Sierra BlitzKing bullets, I soon gave up on reloading any of the 32 gr. V-Max because the 39 gr. Sierra deflected waaaaaaaay less than the 32 grain pills. You just have to try shooting the 32s, the 39s, and maybe some of the 40s and find out what your rifle likes. The heavier bullets are definitely going to deflect less in the wind and have more ft/lbs of energy when they get to the target animal.

Try as I might, I couldn't get my Cooper 1:12 to fire 32g bullets well. 39g SBK's and even 40g Bergers work very well for me.
