Berger Ballistics Program?

Post by FireBallGuy »

Have a silly question for someone out there........in that berger program, what is this thing sight height? I am led to assume this means the height of the center line of your scope with relation to the bore? Just an un educated guess and how does one properly determine this figure? Thanks all.

You have it correct. It can be measured in a number of ways, the easiest is just to measure the barrel to scope tube at the outside center of each radius. It doesn't have to be within thou's, but the measurement is critical in all ballistic programs as you've noted.
