Bullet drop
I was just wondering if anybody can tell me approx. bullet drop for the the 204. I just finished sighting my rifle in dead on at 100 yards. The load I am using is 29.0 grains of BLC-2 and a 40gr Vmax bullet. What can I expect at 2, 3, and 400 yards? Thanks.

Re: Bullet drop
Go to Hornady .com, external balistics, calculator.
Put in the info as accurately as possible and the program will calculate your load to 1000 yards, also wind drift info.
I use 39 Sierra bullets. My load with a 200 yard zero(that's 1/2 inch high at 100) drops 4.2 inches at 300, 13 inches at 400, and 27.6 at 500 yards.

For a quick less detailed view using Hornady factory ammo you can look here :

Click on see details, then velocity, energy and bullet drop will be available (assumes 200 yard zero).
