Anyone out there shooting a Sako 75 XS? I have a new rifle and very little Idea of what it will shoot. Had spinal surgery in April, so doc says min recoil, shoot a 410 and 28 ga ok. The .204 in my Sako and CZ just slide me back a hair. I am working on 40 gr loads for the Sako, the CZ shoot dimes. Any idea of good loads in 39-40 or even 45 for the Sako?

Viclaski: I'm shooting a Sako M75 Varmint (same bbl, same twist), and have settled on both the 32 and 39 Blitz Kings, as both shoot under .5 MOA in the rifle.
As we all know, every rifle is a rule unto itself, my load may not work worth a hoot in yours, but you asked. Here's the load, but note that it is a tad over book max, so
proceed with caution and work up slowly in yours.
Sierra 32 gr Blitz King
RL10X @ 26.3 grs
Rem 7-1/2
WW Case (fully prepped)
Seated to
comparator OAL: 2.060"
This load is accurate past 500 yds, shoots about .3 in my rifle, and is zipping along at 4,000+ fps.
The 39gr load is all the same, but I use 26.0grs of RL10X (again, over max so act accordingly) right at 3,800 fps.
Good luck with that Sako. Got any pics?
