30grn Bergers with H4895

Not many are using that bullet, expensive and low bc are probable reasons.
You didn't mention what powder you're using. Assuming that decision hasn't been made I'd suggest Benchmark. Start with about 27 grains and work up slowly watching for pressure signs. Let us know how those 30's work for you.

Just woke up fully and see the H4895 on your post. I've not used that powder in my 204's. The R10X is wonderfull with heavier bullets and the Benchmark is great for 32's.

Judging by Hodgens data I'd say 27.4gns for a start and 29.4gns for a "rough" max load.
One can extrapolate data from another close bullet weight but always use caution. Theres more involved in the equation than just weight. Bearing length and bullet construction are two of the biggies IMO.
