I have read these are the same bullets,rather you buy from midway or midsouth.
Does anyone know who makes these ???
The only bullet that is 34gr for 204 that I found is winchester.
Anyone think they are in fact winchester bullets?

They are made by Nosler as a bulk-bullet for bulk sales to the mass marketers such as the two you mentioned. Not sure why it matters to anyone, but that's who makes them. They are known as Nosler SHOTS, same as the 20gr .17 caliber bullet. Our Aussie buddies are very familiar with these bullets too.

They are bulk only, not intended for individual boxed sales. As they are only sold to mass marketers under house names, they will not advertise them under their own brand name, that's why you won't see them advertised as such.

I have both-Midway and Midsouth. They're identical. Midsouth's prices used to be quite a bit cheaper. Just finished loading some up as a matter of fact. Dave

Let us know how they shoot. I just got some Midway Dogtowns in 17. My rifle has not arrived yet for me to try them out.

I don't think they are,But I bet someone will know for sure.

Absolutely not true. These are standard cup & draw gilding metal/copper jackets with lead cores.

You may be getting these bullets confused with the Nosler E-Tip, which IS a lead-free bullet, as is the Barnes Varmint Grenade and their line of big game bullets; TTSX (Tipped Tripple Shock X-Bullet)

Remember, the bullets being discussed are less expensive, sold in bulk offerings to mass marketers, and therefore are produced on conventional presses in the usual manner. No plastic tip, nothing trick, just a basic varmint bullet intended for colony rodent shooting on a budget.

Thanks Rick. It was the Barnes Varmint Grenades I was thinking of. It seems i've read somewhat poor revies of that 26 grain bullet. If they are not very accurate, do you think it would improve if they made them a bit heavier?

The 26gr VG's are fairly accurate, the problem lies with their very low BC, giving useful varmint range of about no more than 250 yards. They are short, hence the low BC. If made longer in .20 caliber, they'd be too long to fit in most magazines if loaded to the base of the case neck, as many varmint shooters feed rounds from the magazine, especially for coyotes (which this bullet is not intended). Me, my crew, and other long time PD and squirrel shooters use BR followers in our rat rifles and shoot single shot from prone or the bench while engaging Skippy, so if Barnes made the VG's longer with a better BC, the guys in California would buy them up in large lots for their squirrel shooting I'd imagine, as they are being forced to shoot lead-free bullets thanks to condors getting lead poisoning. Of course, this is also another liberal idea to put us shooters out of business also, and is just another excuse.

Actually you can get some pretty good accuracy out of them. I shoot them quite often to help keep the shooting costs down and my trigger finger exercised. I'm shooting a 204 and using a new rifle this year so I'll be putting some on paper soon. Dave
