Well fellows, I have a new to me CZ 527 Varmint. I had it out last week with my HS Precision 40gr Vmax and 40gr Berger loads that I use and the accuracy wasn't that great. The powder I used for these loads is Varget, 27gr.

So now I will either try Benchmark or Win 748. For bullets, I have some 32gr Horn, 39gr Sierra, 40gr Btips. I'm shooting for groups right now at 100 meters.

Anyone have a combo that they like for the 527 varmint?

Thanks Greg

Well I decided to go with the data from the new Nosler book. Starting with 25.5 and stopping at 27.0. Five round per charge, and Winchester 748 powder. Rifle will be 527 Varmint, scope will be VX II 6-18.
Regards Greg

My CZ isn't fond of the heavier bullets, try the 32s with Benchmark, they should make you smile till your face hurts.

Varget is awfully slow for the .204 case, if you have some H-4895, it might be more beneficial to your group sizes with the 39 Sierra. No one I know personally, has had much success with the 40 Hornadys in the CZ rifles, but yours might surprise us all. Let us know!

Well my groups weren't all that great at 100meters, my best was around an inch or so. Do you guys prefer using the set trigger on the CZ 527 when you are at the range. Had a real nice group at 50 meters. These were the 748 loads with the 39gr.

Today I have loaded 32gr Vmax with 28,28.5,and 29gr of Win 748 and we will see how these fly on the next range trip COL on these is 2.90
Thanks Dr P
