I've been doing some reading here on the WS2 coated bullets. It sounds like a good way to go.
My Buddy who does allot of varmint shooting, Moly coats his bullets, mainly for easier cleaning of his barrels. This will be my first rifle, and I don't even have it yet. However, if I'm going to shoot WS2 coated bullets in it, should I break the barrel in with these bullets also?
What is the recommended process for pre-treating the barrel with WS2?

Always break in a new barrel with naked bullets!

Get the Sinclair Book of Precision Shooting and Handloading, as it covers about every question I see asked on this forum. It will be the best $20 you ever spent, believe me.

(I shoot WS2 coated bullets in some of my high volume colony rodent rifles, and broke all of them in with naked bullets. The book tells why, and it makes perfect sense. Use a mix of WS2 and denatured alcohol to pre-treat the barrel after cleaning and prior to shooting the next string of coated bullets by the way.....)
