Progressive Loading

I just got a Hornady L-N-L AP loader and was wondering what method of reloading I should do?
My thought was to:
Option A
1) size/decap
2) prep work; trim, clean primer etc
3) prime, powder, seat bullet on the progressive
Option B
But, if the X-Die did work, I could pass on the prep work and just:
1) lube with One Shot
2) run the brass through the complete progressive cycle and be done with it
Any problems with option B?
It will be loaded for an AR R15.
