Hi Guys
I have been reloading the CZ for a while now and just got some H335
I have read a few loads using H335 that seem to exceed the max of 28.30, what have you loaded to without pressure signs etc. I have just loaded some with 28.40 with zero signs of pressure and it shot a good group, I did'nt chrony it tho.
Regards

rogern,

Why go any higher? Good group with no pressure and at published max. Life doesn't get any better. Out of my 26 inch barrel that load is well over 4100 fps behind 32 grain Hornady vmax's.

I just endured my first experience with H335 and I'm not in a hurry to use it, again, because it is so temperature sensitive. A load which produced <0.2" groups on a 90 degree day opened up to nearly 1" on a 70 degree day. I'm relatively new to reloading, but I haven't experienced this with other powders.

I don't mean to whiz on your parade, but you might want to pay close attention to temperature fluctuations with H335 when you load. Personally, I found the fluctuations to be unacceptable.

H335 has turned out to be my powder of choice in both the 204 and the 223. 27.0 in both loads - 35 Berger HP in the 204 (@4000fps), and 52 Hornady BTSP in the 223 (3400fps). Both loads have been consistent and accurate.
