35 grain Bergers are the only way to go for yotes :D 26 grains of Benchmark works pretty well in three different rifles. I've heard of other guys using this load too.

I just finished load testing and after a month of trying different powders and OAL's, I decided 27.5 grains of H4895 under a 35 Berger is the most consistant load produced. Benchmark was a close second. I hope to make a stand or two in the morning with hopes of first blood on my new rifle.

The 35 gr. FB HP Bergers are pretty effective on coyotes for me. I have used a good stiff load of H4895 behind that bullet out of my Savage 12VLP.

WOW! Now that is impressive!

I plan on giving those 35-grain Bergers a try in my Hawkeye 204 Ruger, and if they shoot, hopefully get a coyote or two myself this winter.
