25.2grs of H4895
39gr Sierras

Great shootin', but don't chicken out at 3 shots. You'll have to shoot 15 like that to be the top dog.

Very Nice shooting. I will have to give that load a try, I have had good luck with 26.7 of H4895 and 39's also you might want to give the reloaders 10x a try. I think 25.1 and 40 bergers work good too. I think its one Skipper posted.

Nice shooting Ruger No. 1. With groups like that you had better enter the Postal Shoot. I'd say you have a good chance.

Excellent group. Try some more and by all means enter the shoot.
The only negative I see is that load must be pretty slow. If your just punchin paper at close range velocity does'nt mean diddley.
If you ever want to whack a yote or something you might want to move up a node or two.
