Does anyone have some good load recipes for reloading the barnes 26 grain varmit gernades?

foggster Welcome to the forum.

I had some pretty good accuracy with Viht 133 in the 4500-4550 fps range.
Because theres no certified load data and my sanity is usually in question I will not post charge weights. Sorry.

I also tried Benchmark but because of its clean burning characteristics "my" barrel coppered up at those high velocitys and accuracy suffered.

I never really finished load development with them.
One, I had to swab out my barrel and flub a P-Dog target.
Two, Its egg shoot time and time to get serious (somewhat)
Three, Just guessing by the other VG's but the BC is probably so low on them I felt even a good 100yd load would blow away at further distances.

A fast burning sooty powder would probably be best.
I've never used it in anything but if its sooty like its slower brothers Alliant RL-7 would be a good bet.
