Can anyone tell me what velocity they are getting with 39grn sierras with 27.5+or- grn. of h4895? I don't have a chrono, and I think the load data is a bit on the conevative side.

28 grains of H4895 will avg. around 3780 ft/sec with a Sierra 39 grain bullet. This varies with barrel, barrel lenght, temperature, and powder lot#.

My rifle, a 26" Savage, gets 3880fps with that load, I don't consider it conservative at all. I could go a touch warmer, but I like it where it's at. That's with 205M primers in WW brass.

That was out a 22" Browning Stalker (Buggy Whip Barrel). I have some heavier barreled that are longer .204's guns, but that was the one I had data similar to his request. RP preped brass and Rem 7.5 BR Primers.

In some testing I did last month, in shooting five shot strings, 27.7 grains of H-4895, 39 grain Sierra BK's, CZ 527 Varmint w/25.6" barrel, I had the following averages: 3830 3860 3834 3872 3860 3854. Good luck, hope this helps. Carl
