Powder drop tube for Lee?

Am I going to have any trouble using the Pro Auto Disk Measure on my Lee Classic Turret Press to charge .204 cases? Lee says the powder die is 22-45 cal only. So no support for 17/20cal? I already talked to Lee and they said it can't be done, but I don't believe it. One of you must be using Lee stuff. I have 1000 brass nearly prepped, and am hoping to avoid charging off press.
Any advice on how to make this work would be appreciated. Thanks

I think I'd take LEE at their word, and charge "off press", though it won't be much fun for you. Regardless of how much we like our .20s and .17s, in the "other real world" they aren't much in terms of sales compared to the other sizes, so little support has ever been offered, though things are changing very slowly.
In any event, it's better to be safe when monkeying around with these small cases, and check charge weights frequently, which is often difficult to do on a progressive press. I don't load my .204s on my Dillon, for that reason, although I've never had any problems using it when loading multiple thousands of rounds of pistol ammo.

Yeah, a Lee rep told me it won't work because the powder bridges in the tube. The reason I don't believe it, is every other company seems to make drop tubes small enough. It's not even that I mind charging by hand so much, but that leaves me looking for the right measure, one that has a tube/nozzle small enough for .204. I have funnels, but 1000 times? grrrr
I'm pretty sure I saw RCBS and Redding, and all the high $ measures can drop powder in a .17, so Lee has failed me here. Been looking at the Redding 3BR, with stand and special 4" drop tube for 17/20. Too bad that setup will cost me more than my entire Lee press package did.
Thanks for your reply.
