I use Ramshot Xterminator powder, 27.2 grains Federal small rifle primer, 32 grain V-max. This has been an excellent load for my rifle. At 100 yards and with me doing what I should do everytime. Holes touching at 100 yards. I have taken 35 coyotes this year and 22 of them were taken with this powder and bullet combination. Longest shot 270 yards. 15 yards has been the nearest shot on a coyote. Bullet went in but did not come out of the coyote. It is one reason I love the 32 grain V-max.

Ok, Rifle is a Ruger M77 Mk II *Target* in .204, 26" heavy barrel, 1 in 12 twist with a Bushnell Elite 3200 5-15x40....
Using factory Hornady cases once fired in my rifle, they get reloaded with Hornady 32gr Vmax bulets, 27 gr of H4895, with CCI 400 primers.
I put 10 rounds in 1 inch at 100 yrds with my wobbly hands and old eyes.

Best part is...backing off the load results in longer barrel life

Sounds like a great load, never tried Ramshot powders, though. I may have to stop at Sportsmans Warehouse and try some.
I use 28.6 gr. of RL 15 for the 32 V-Max (just at 4000 fps) and is very accurate.

How clean burning is Ramshot , when compared to H-4895, RL-10X, or Benchmark?
