Hey guys, been reloading since late 1967,but only last four months in 204.I have been useing Cabela's plastic boxes for my 223's but when I load the bullet out any at all with 204 ,the lid won't shut.Just wondering what brand is deeper, to use for the 204.love forum and 204R.

MTMs have worked for me, as do Plano's green boxes. I actually favor the Planos, good boxes and less pricey than MTMs. I have probably paid the MTM kids way thru college, with all the pistol and rifle boxes I have, but honestly, those Planos are better.

+1 on MTM

If GA has paid for their kids education I suspect I have purchased them at least one nice summer home!

I always used MTM's untill last buy of 10 from Midway. MTM are great--the Midway ones work fine and save some bucks.

Another vote for the new MTM boxes from Midway marked '204 Ruger'. Even with my long overall length BK's, the lid will still close. They won't fit in any of my boxes marked for the 223.

These puppies are much longer than factory 204's, but fit just fine in the MTM's.

i bought mine locally, when the place was out of MTMs, but I've seen them online at one of the big online sales places, I think it was Natchez, but check with Midsouth, too.

A quick check made it Midsouth

I know most of us are off-put by Fleebay but....I did save some bucks with my boxes there. Several people sell them in lots of 5 or more, I think I only paid about $1.50 ea. for mine.

I've got enough MTM's 1,000 rounds and love them. I picked mine up from http://www.grafs.com/

At the time they had a better price than midway.

All my boxes are color coded! .204 go in the blue boxes and the .223 go in red boxes! I never reload with both on the table! one caliber at a time! most of my boxes are mtm!
